Heav'nly manna, gift from above, Bread and manna, given with love. Heav'nly manna, sweet as morning dew; God's holy Word is ever true.

Tho' they wandered thru the wilderness, God rained down manna every day; To His children He showed faithfulness, Conquering hunger all the way.

Tho' some dwelled without much gratitude God sent His Son as living bread; As they ate, their spirits were renewed, And with His word they could be fed.

We can now be nourished as they were, As we digest the words of Christ; Promises of God help us endure, With the sustaining bread of life.
