Lyrics
Verse 1
Shall my soul ever dwell here on Earth, and perpetu'lly gain earthly days? Would I have strength salvation to earn and to beckon my soul from the grave? While advancing in years and in age, do I have pow'r my being to save?
Verse 2
On life's highway the left is beside, its design is to lead me astray. To the right is confusion and sin where my soul in delusion may sway. Shall I find the true pathway ahead? Is the path straight and narrow the way?
Verse 3
As we wander thru danger in life, here as pilgrims we watch thru the night for a spirit of fear is not giv'n but of pow'r and of love and sound mind. Fret not tho' be the foe round about, we are conq'rors by Him thru the fight.
